Sasha is a female Irish setter from All Dogs Go To Heaven 2. She is the tritagonist of the entire franchise except certain episodes and An All Dogs Christmas Carol (in the latter of which she is the tetartagonist). She sings with serenity in the lounge. She appears to be a companion to David since he has departed from home. She becomes romantically involved with Charlie B. Barkin within the film's sequel.

Appearance:[]

Sasha is a beautiful Irish Setter with auburn fur and her underbelly is golden tan. She also has dark maroon hair, which blends in with her lovely coat. She has light green eyes, which catches the eyes of many male dogs. Overall, she is a very attractive dog.

Personality[]

Sasha is kind, protective, loving, good-hearted, independent, and smart with a strong personality. She doesn't often show her soft side to strangers, but is kind to people who are nice to her. She showed her protective side to David when she was looking after him. Similar to Itchy, she is the voice of reason and is more like a guardian angel to others than Charlie is, and always expects them to do the right thing, like how she kept trying to convince David to go back home, and the way she tried to make Carface see his mistakes while disguised as the Ghost of Christmas Present in the third film, and there are times in the series where she teaches Charlie life lessons, and gets him to realize his behavior. She's also very brave in dangerous situations, proven near the end of the second film where she aids everyone in the battle against Red and when she stops a junkyard car crusher from crushing the one Charlie is stuck in in the episode "Miss Guidance." Sasha also has a lovely singing voice, as shown in her first appearance.

Biography[]

All Dogs Go to Heaven 2[]

Sasha first appears when the announcer calls her up for the next talent revealing her full name "Sasha la Fleur" the crowd claps, howls, and whistles as her silhouette is shown through a wall. She ends up stepping out of the area and is revealed singing a song about how she's not willing to take a man for whatever they have to offer ("Count Me Out"). She appears to Charlie instantly, and he becomes attracted to her basically falling in love and stalks her around the bar while she's singing, but she doesn't notice him because he's a ghost. She walks around the room, causing some male dogs to collapse by flirting with them or teasing them with her tail. A few scenes past it's shown back at the bar the announcer tells Sasha she sings pretty good for a stray to much of Sasha's care. She asks if she can have her prize after winning the talent show. He ends up giving her a bone with a first place ribbon which disappoints her claiming they had a meal for the winner. The announcer sweet talks Sasha into having dinner with him that night, a disgusted Sasha rejects him and takes the bone anyways, leaving quite upset. She sees a puppy whimpering for something to eat. Because of Sasha's kindness, she scoots him the bone to let him have and then catches a buffet near her eyes and she turns to make sure nobody was paying attention and she starts picking up different food. As she is stuffing food on a small napkin, Charlie appears, scaring her, and he compliments her singing voice, Sasha is not interested in what Charlie has to say or in himself in general, so she ignores him, but ends up dropping her food due to Charlie "supposedly" helping her which she didn't want.

As they get caught Charlie tells Sasha he'll handle it and while he talks she runs off, leaving Charlie and Itchy to go follow her. When Charlie and Itchy step place in a small ditch. Sasha appears and ends up growling at the two and notices Charlie she gets angry. Charlie gives her the food she forgot and she thanks him kindly but is insecurely kind of embarrassed. Charlie ask if she'd like some company with that food, she tells him sorry because she has a "kid." Charlie thinks she has pups, but really Sasha had a human kid she was caring for who ran away from home named David. David is able to talk to Charlie and Itchy but not Sasha until Charlie uses his miracle by sneak kissing her to get her able to talk to David too. She disgusts and snaps out, and then David overhears it, so she feels embarrassed and left confused. She learns Charlie is an angel by forcing him to tell her the truth on who he is. With David thinking Charlie is his guardian angel to the dismay of Sasha, she questions why he ran away from home after finding out he wasn't lost. Charlie is up for the idea of David becoming a street performer, but to Sasha's dismay, she disagrees and thinks he should go home instead. But David refuses to go on her side. So they end up leaving Sasha outnumbered and Charlie asks if she was coming. Sasha, without saying anything, scowls at him and said she will keep a eye on him. As they're walking down a block Charlie tries talking to her again asking if she was involved with anyone and she tells him no quickly and that she's not taking any applications. Charlie still pressures her by asking the qualities she wants in a certain male dog, she gives him a run down of different things. Later on she questions Itchy why is Charlie taking so long in the police department and what's it all about. Itchy refuses to tell her, but when Charlie reappears and says they have to bust the horn out she questions what he means by "it." Itchy tells Charlie not to say but he does anyways. She is seen helping the boys escape with the horn and out of the police station.

When David is performing his talent "On Easy Street," Sasha's not that interested considering she thought it was a bad idea in the first place, but she goes along with it. But soon as his talent act is ruined, they go under a bridge for shelter from the rain, she twirls his hair around, and David reminds her his mom used to do that same thing. While Itchy and David are chowing on food, Sasha notices that Charlie's upset and walks where he's at to comfort him by saying he's doing a good job taking care of David. Charlie confesses, and tells Sasha everything and that he's not David's guardian angel, but a errand boy sent from Heaven to catch a horn. Sasha sees how disappointed he is cause he found somebody special. She feels sorry for him and she instantly develops her feelings for Charlie and sings a love song implying that no matter where he goes, she'll always be with him. Once the song ends and soon as she and Charlie are about to kiss, he disappears before her leaving her in shock. Later, David and Sasha are alone at the bus station. Sasha tries to get David to pick a bus route, but David still refuses to go without Charlie by his side. After David's distracted, she turns around and notices he's being captured by Carface. She tries to stop him, but she is blocked by a moving train before her.

Charlie rescues David from Red and pushes him on a boat where Itchy and Sasha are telling them to get David home safe. While Charlie is fighting Red, Sasha and the gang help out by trapping Red's tail into a pipe. Finally, once Red is defeated, Annabelle sends Charlie and Itchy back to the heavens. Charlie insists to David that Sasha is going to take him home instead. An upset Sasha is disappointed he has to go and she tells Charlie she loves him (but not before he tells her the same) and she and David watch as the heavens close.

Near the end, a saddened David and Sasha are walking down his home block almost to his house until Sasha senses something coming their way which worries her. They find out Charlie returned permanently and Sasha is excited and full of glee! Then she notices David's parents greet his return (David's). After David and his family walk inside together, Sasha asks Charlie besides David what was his real reason for coming back and that he'd better not lie to her. He tells her sincerely that he wanted to be a part of her life which shocks Sasha and makes her flattered by his request and they almost kiss until David interrupts by saying he worked a bit of magic and reveals their bowls with their names on them. Sasha turns back around to Charlie and they share a nice romantic kiss and walk in together now as a couple.

All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series[]

The TV series differentiates from the second film, for example: Sasha has a job as the owner and bartender of the tavern for dogs (which is now a cafe called The Flea Bite), she and Charlie don't live with David and are an on again off again couple (and is revealed to have never had a first date together), but are more like frenemies as Sasha is still turned off by Charlie's obnoxiousness. And she still knows about Itchy and Charlie's secret as heavenly angels, and even aids them in some missions. Although she doesn't live with David anymore, she can still talk to him.

An All Dogs Christmas Carol[]

Sasha is first seen at the Flea Bite having a Christmas party with Charlie, Itchy, other dogs, and puppies (including a crippled one named Timmy).

Eventually, Sasha acts as the Ghost of Christmas Present in guiding Carface.

Quotes:[]

  • Of all the arrogant, presumptious, EGOTISTICAL MUTTS I'VE EVER MET!

Relationships[]

Charlie[]

She becomes his love interest. In the beginning of the second film, she despises Charlie and takes no interest in him, but later she develops feelings for him later on the movie. Charlie uses his miracle to grant Sasha the ability to converse with David. The pair sings the soundtrack "I Will Always Be with You" as they embrace each other. On the other hand, Charlie is not always her boyfriend, as she rejects him sometimes, like in "The Perfect Dog" in which she sings the titular song with (more like against or opposite) him. Charlie pretends to be a super gentlemen by being very kind where Charlie's real goal is to give Sasha a nervous breakdown. Sasha turns this against charlie by giving a whole bunch of demands. In all dogs go to heaven 2, Charlie loves Sasha. In the series, Sasha is sometimes disgusted by charlie's ways but he is able to make it make it up to her. Charlie tries to do nice favors but they end of going backwards. These are often done with good intention There are various examples in adgth the series, One example is Dog eat Dog, where Charlie agrees to her rules but chooses to have his manner of running it. Charlie runs into a disaster by making an agreement with Carfare. He fixes, restoring the cafe and getting rent but Sasha comes back some bewilderment. In puppy sitter, as part of a mission given by Annabelle, charlie uses a wolf puppy to lure sasha into liking him, making her heart melt. She always is willing to help charlie and forgives him. One form of their interaction is in Whacked to the future, where a descent of Sasha is very esteemed of Charlie but becomes doubtful. Their scheme is similar to rescuing the horn in All dogs go to heaven 2. Despite this, Sasha sees that charlie is really good and truly loves her. Charlie and Sasha are overall close friends

Annabelle -

Very little conversations or direct interaction between sasha and Annabelle is seen in the series and the Christmas special movie. Anabelle and and sasha have a indirect connection When annabelle appears on earth they may have had short interaction. One reason for this is t hat their lifestyles and goals are different. Most of the time Annabelle will have a private discussion with charlie where Sasha is not even aware of these discussion as seen the second ADGTH movie or various episodes in the series . This is probably due to the fact that sasha does not have connection with angel powers that Annabelle shares with Charlie and Itchy The relationship while not direct is positive, sasha seems to agree with guidance or given by Annabelle. One example of when they support each other indirectly, is during the main events of all dogs go to heaven 2, getting the horn. Annabelle urges charlie to get and return the horn the horn. Sasha not fully understanding the full importance, helps charlie to retreive the horn and also during the main conflict of the movie fight red while charlie gets the horn and saves dog heaven. They share a personality trait of being female leaders that are humble about authority, as Sasha is the director of the flea bite while Anabelle is the main angel of dog Heaven

Annabelle and sasha indirectly support each other through charlie's actions, as he talks with Annabelle give him missions and sasha helps to aid in these missions, as Sasha when accompanying charlie will listen to Annabelle when she appears their presence and assist with orders as needed as seen in the Christmas special. Annabelle is amused by sasha's actions such as singing "Why not be happy now" in he barked or she barked or in an All dogs Christmas carol giving praise for , indirectly aiding to put a stop to Belladonna's plot , though helping reach out to carfare as a Christmas ghost. Another example is episode 1l doggone truth, where ananbelle wants charlie to be a good dog. Sasha gets the cafe's ownership stolen by Careface and killer. Charlie helps sasha to win the cafe back.. Sasha tries to help carface but is really helping charlie in a larger scheme to win back the cafe. Anabelle is happy with this deed, so they support each indirectly. A third example is "mutts ado about nothing." because anabelle is considerably disappointed with charlie and itchy's poor behavior due to them arguing and fighting. As a result, with her divine power Ananbelle switches charlie and itchy's body in order to appreciate each other after constant bickering. Sasha, coincidentally , has the same idea, noticing charlie and itchy are distant, of getting them to bond. However, she is not aware of the change. A date between charlie and itchy along with sasha and bess occurs. Charlie and itchy attain this compassion for each other though the date which pleases anabelle. As shown by this example, Sasha and anabelle indirectly help each other to achieve this goal. Annabelle knows charlie has a close relationship for sasha and as seen as in the closing scene of All dogs go to heaven 2,.. Annabelle from high above, sees sasha is helpful to aiding charlie on his missions and helps to make right decisions even when tempted to do otherwise.. They share a postive relationship for the greater good though missions that Charlieundergoes.

Belladonna-

No direct interaction occurs between belladonna and sasha in the adgth series and in the Christmas special. However, knowing that she is charlie's enemy sasha probably dislikes Belladonna. Belladonna is aware that charlie has a romantic relationship with sasha and uses that to her advantage to manipulate charlie, in a plot within kibbleland, though carface and killer, tricking her to be stuck into into a board game. Thus in turn leads charlie and itchy to go in their to save her.. Sasha is to opposed belladonna's plot such as in a Christmas carol and stops it through giving carface visions Conversely, sasha will aid to stop belladonna's plots such as he barked and she barked also a an all dogs christmas carol.. Sasha defends charlie and supports his plots to stop belladonna

Red- No direct interacion occurs between red and sahsa. However, being a big cat demon. it is assumed that Sasha has dislike for red Sasha helps to fight red by distracting him and charlie gets the horn

David[]

His companion and her owner. It appears that Sasha sings with serenity at the lounge so that David can make a living. Charlie later grants a miracle at which gives her the ability to converse with David. She acts as a motherly figure to him.

Itchy[]

Sasha has more patience with Itchy than with Charlie, as shown that Itchy, like Sasha, acts as a conscience to Charlie. Also, Sasha doesn't like Charlie using his best friend "as a pack mule." She also takes care of Itchy on occasion: in "Miss Guidance," she tends to Itchy when he has a cold from being out in the rain, and in "Agent from F.I.D.O.," she bandages his snout.

Bess[]

Sasha quickly made friends with Bess in the only time they ever met. In fact, they both arrange a double date to get their boyfriends to get along again. When they finally do, the girls think their plan worked.

Carface[]

Sasha despises Carface's ways as Sasha doesn't like carface. However, Sasha will reluctantly do romantic interaction or help carfare and killer, often this is done to benefit a larger scheme or goal on behalf charlie or itchy.. She is often happy when carfare and killer are punished or captured due to charlie's efforts. Ironically Carface thinks that Sasha has attraction for him when this is a false front as he true allegiance is with charlie. This is evident in various episodes of All dogs go to Heaven the Series, such as when he throws her out of the Flea Bite ("The Doggone Truth"), yet she acts as an instructor to him and Killer on being gentlemen, though this is part of a scheme to get the Flea Bite back. She also despises it when, in the Christmas special and finale, he demands 10 bones (counting 150% interest, as she'd borrowed 4 from him), and then he has them robbed. entually, she acts as the Ghost of Christmas Present to reveal that Killer celebrates Christmas (secretly), and the way the crippled puppy Timmy lives his life (he has loving owners, but they are too poor to afford an operation for him). She reveals that without proper care, he will not live to celebrate any more Christmases. Finally, after Carface reforms, as a token of gratitude for changing his ways, she kisses his cheek. .As shown in these examples in the adgth saga,

Gerta[]

Sasha is a close friend of Gerta who also works at the Flea Bite.

Timmy[]

Sasha has concern over the crippled puppy. She is the one who has the idea of raising money for his operation. After the robbery, she escorts Timmy home to his owner Martha.

  • Sasha's last name, "La Fleur" is French for "the flower."
    • On the other hand, some fans or anyone familiar with this refer to her as "Sasha Le Fleur." This is an error because "le" is a masculine article, and "fleur" is a feminine noun.
  • It is said in the episode "Dog Eat Dog" that Sasha has a sister from Los Angeles (who is about to have puppies), but she is neither seen nor heard nor (obviously) named, nor is it known whether she is older or younger than Sasha.
